Nicky grew up in Zimbabwe and South Africa, and from the age of 18, she went on to travel, volunteering in a kibbutz in Israel, travelling through Jordan, Egypt and Europe before settling permanently in the UK. She started her career in recruitment in 1997, starting off in a little agency in Cardiff before moving to London to support a team of 7 consultants, before being offered a Trainee Consultant role.
Working with and learning from highly talented and experienced Consultants, she went on to build her own successful temps desk recruiting back office staff into the very competitive area of investment banking. This experience was the building blocks to a future in recruitment and led her to her first role with TPP back in 2006 covering temporary and contract finance recruitment in to the non-profit and public sector. After a successful 3 years with TPP as a 360 recruiter, she went on to having a family and taking 6 years off to be a full-time mother and returned in 2016 as TPP’s Talent Acquisition Manager.
