My formal background is in Accountancy, however, as travelling was always a passion, I have several years’ work experience within the Travel industry. Since 2013, I have worked within the Education sector.

At TPP I am an Associate Consultant, assisting to help fill both temporary and permanent vacancies across the organisation allowing me to continuously gather knowledge through exposure to different areas of the business.

I love travelling and of course I see the usual sights people tend to visit. However, there is nothing like exploring and experiencing places tourists don’t usually go to – even better doing that with someone local! I also have a very strong connection with the sea and one of the most amazing and unforgettable experiences I had was to paraglide over the  beautiful turquoise sea in the Northeast of Brazil.

Your greatest achievement?

To have had the opportunity to successfully run my own business focused on education in Brazil, in a very competitive and tough environment, without external investment. Despite selling it upon moving to the UK, we laid a robust structure and developed a very positive reputation, which helps the company to continue running to date. On top of that, I am very proud to have developed and maintained a very friendly and close relationship with most of the staff (some still working there) and many of the clients.

Why did you join TPP?

I wanted to be part of an organisation where the values and mission were not just a nicely put together bunch of words with no meaning. I look up to the initiatives, such as “TPP Giving Back” and I feel totally aligned to the company’s values. The flexibility, purposed work as well as the ethical and transparent approach became clear from day 1, since my first chat with Nicky, and throughout the recruitment process.

Unusual fact?

I did not eat any fruit or vegetables until 5 years ago (never, under no circumstances). Luckily, since then, I have been making better food choices and trying to be healthier.

Favourite film or book?

Impossible to choose only one film. I am addicted to horror, drama, alternative and documentary genres. To name a few of my favourites: Rocky Horror Picture Show, Blade Runner (the original one from 1982), Dracula (Christopher Lee, 1958), 21 Grams, The Exorcist. And the list goes on…

Tea or Coffee?

Is there life without coffee?!
