20% of employees have been offered more training and development in the last 12 months with 56% being offered the same number of opportunities. Those at executive/ officer and senior executive/ senior officer level have been offered more opportunities than other job levels.  More people in finance than any other job function (16%) have been offered no opportunities for training and development in the last 12 months (a possible reflection of the CPD offered by Accounting bodies direct).

41% have training booked in for the next 12 months.  With support for professional development being the 4th most desired benefit, organisations should ensure all staff are being offered support in order to retain employees.

At TPP we host several free forums within digital, fundraising, HR, finance, data, prospect research, supporter care, membership and higher education. These forums are chaired by a professional within the sector and discuss key challenges, development, and current thinking around our Boardroom table.
