In order to understand the most desired versus most offered benefits, we have surveyed a wide variety of current benefits.
The table below shows the percentage of individuals who receive each benefit, ranked in order of most desired. Pension contributions, working from home and flexible working hours are the most valued benefits.
This differs slightly per job function:
- Pension & Life cover is more important to finance professionals.
- Enhanced maternity/ paternity pay is more important to fundraising and marcomms professionals.
- Cycle to work scheme is the least desired benefit across all job functions.
- Support for professional development (see below) has become more important across all job functions in the last two years.
