Ciarán Devane- Macmillan Cancer Support
Ciarán Devane gained first-class honours in biochemical engineering at
University College, Dublin. He also studies at George Washington University, Washington DC, where he gained a Masters degree in International Policy.
Ciarán Devane has been Chief Executive of Macmillan Cancer Support since May 2007. He also co-chairs the National Cancer Survivorship Initiative and is a Trustee of the National Council for Voluntary Organisation and the Makaton Charity. Ciarán is also on the advisory council of the Cicely Saunders Institute and in 2012 was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the NHS Commissioning Board.
