Specialist Recruitment for Non-Profit and Public Sector Finance, IT & Facilities Jobs

TPP’s finance, IT and facilities recruitment team are dedicated to sourcing highly experienced candidates for roles across the non-profit and public sectors.

Our consultants have built a specialist network of candidates to fill vacancies at all organisational levels, from administration to director-level duties.

TPP recruits for non-profit and charity organisations and public sector employers such as education and housing providers.

Our finance, IT and facilities candidates are all experienced subject-area specialists who want to work with employers dedicated to making a difference.

We recognise the vital role that each of these plays in the day-to-day administration and running of non-profit and public sector activities, from the financial reports which allow key internal and external stakeholders to be notified of funding gaps in charity operations to the IT support which allows issues with e-learning systems to be quickly rectified.

TPP’s Finance, IT and Facilities specialisms

The expert finance and accountancy candidates we recruit can assist businesses in all aspects of transactional and administrative finance, whilst our facilities experts can cover a range of tasks related to the upkeep of estates, from health and safety to procurement and hard and soft services.

Our professionals can help an organisation with all their requirements, from hardware or helpdesk assistance, data management and internal system infrastructure, through to web or software development and automation.

Finance, IT & Facilities job profiles

Roles across the non-profit and public sector require a diverse skill set for each specialisation. Finance professionals would be expected to be familiar with financial reporting, year-end accounts and modelling. In contrast, facilities managers and coordinators will be tasked with health and safety and estates' care and maintenance. IT professionals must tailor their skills to the needs of each specific role, such as data management or infrastructure.

Facilities professionals will focus their day-to-day tasks on managing the usage, ongoing maintenance and repair of facilities on estates they are responsible for and associated health and safety concerns. Experts in this field, particularly at senior levels, will often hold a recognised health, safety and environmental qualification such as NEBOSH.

Finance and accountancy candidates are experts in transactional and administrative finance. Invoicing, managing gift aid and preparing donor reports or year-end accounts will ensure non-profit and public sector projects run within budget. Accountants typically hold a degree in a related field and chartered status with an industry body.

Non-profit and public sector IT requires candidates committed to developing their employer's information and technological infrastructure, web presence or software tools. They will usually have a background in computer science, data or a vocational qualification in system architecture, alongside certifications from industry bodies.
