Karen joined TPP as a Consultant in the Finance, IT & Facilities team.
Karen has had a varied career with a strong customer service focus. After running her family business and then moving into retail management Karen decided to redirect her career after taking advice from a career coach which started her journey in recruitment. Nothing makes her happier than implementing her passion for great customer service, and recruitment allows her to do this by supporting candidates and clients into a fulfilling long-term working relationship.
Karen’s favourite pastime is traveling to sunnier climes having visited over 25 different countries blended with her enjoyment of reading and spending time outdoors in nature.
Why did you join TPP?
Because their core values and principles aligned with my own and I wanted to add value by recruiting for roles that truly had impact.
Your greatest achievement?
Opening and running a Juice Café with my other half. I self-educated in nutritional knowledge and we were the hub of our community bringing people together.
Unusual fact?
The small intestine is the largest internal organ in the human body.
Favourite film or book?
Must be Bridges of Maddison County as the film was as good as the book which is a rare thing indeed.
Tea or coffee?
Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon.
