Temporary Volunteering Programmes Administrator

Predominantly Remote | ASAP Start (First Week of September) | Until December 2026

Salary/rate: £18.13 per hour plus holiday pay
Location: Predominantly remote with approximately one day per month in the London office
Employment type: Temporary
Working hours: Full time. Flexible hours may be considered for the right candidate, with a minimum commitment of 4 days per week
Contract length: ASAP start (first week of September) until the end of December 2026


Looking for a predominantly remote role where you can use your administration, CRM and stakeholder engagement skills to support a growing volunteer programme making a real difference?

An established national charity is seeking a highly organised and proactive Volunteering Programmes Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis until the end of the year.
The organisation has developed several successful volunteering programmes and has experienced significant growth in volunteer engagement. This role will provide essential administrative and coordination support to ensure volunteers receive an excellent experience throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting volunteer recruitment, matching and onboarding processes
  • Managing programme administration, templates and communications
  • Responding to enquiries and managing a shared mailbox
  • Maintaining accurate volunteer records and programme data
  • Supporting matching sessions and volunteer engagement activities
  • Assisting with waitlists and established programme processes
  • Producing reports and ensuring high standards of data quality
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders across multiple programmes
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Strong administration or coordination experience
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience maintaining accurate data and records
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • A proactive, efficient and solutions-focused approach
  • Experience using CRM systems
Experience of Salesforce would be highly desirable, although candidates with experience of other CRM systems are also encouraged to apply.
