Are you an experienced in-house recruiter looking to take a more strategic approach to talent acquisition?

TPP Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK charity to recruit a Talent Acquisition Manager who will help shape how the organisation attracts, engages and plans for talent.

This isn't a role that's simply about filling vacancies. You'll be the talent acquisition expert, partnering closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand the bigger picture behind their recruitment needs. You'll bring commercial thinking, market insight and constructive challenge, helping managers make better hiring decisions while building their own recruitment capability.

Crucially, you'll be looking ahead - talent mapping, developing pipelines, identifying internal progression opportunities and anticipating future workforce needs, rather than waiting for the next vacancy to arise. You'll also contribute to wider workforce planning, employer brand, inclusive recruitment and candidate experience.

This isn't high-volume recruitment. You'll work across a diverse mix of specialist professions, where the emphasis is on quality, strong hiring decisions and longer-term talent planning.

What we're looking for You'll bring:
  • Strong in-house recruitment / talent acquisition experience
  • A strategic and commercially minded approach
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • The confidence to influence, advise and challenge hiring managers
  • Experience of talent mapping, pipeline development and proactive sourcing
  • A collaborative approach to working with HRBPs, hiring managers and the wider People team
  • The ability to see the bigger picture while remaining hands-on when needed
You don't need charity-sector experience. We're very open to someone from a commercial environment who can bring strong in-house recruitment expertise, creativity and fresh thinking. Charity or purpose-led experience is desirable rather than essential.

If you're looking for an opportunity to move beyond reactive recruitment and have a real influence on how an organisation attracts and plans for talent, I'd love to hear from you.

I'm interviewing on a rolling basis, so please apply early to be considered.

We want you to have every opportunity to demonstrate your skills, ability and potential; please contact us if you require any assistance or adjustment so that we can help with making the application process work for you.
