The prestigious Regulatory Body is seeking a dynamic and experienced Policy Manager to join its newly established Professional Standards Team. This role is pivotal in shaping the policies that underpin the standards expected of barristers, including the outcomes required for pre- and post-qualification training and other quality assurance arrangements.

- Lead the development and implementation of policies related to barrister qualification pathways.
- Collaborate with the Authorisation and Supervision teams to identify and address gaps in the policy framework.
- Conduct research to support future policy reviews.
- Engage with key stakeholders.
- Oversee project budgets related to pre-qualification training.
- Contribute to business planning and departmental work, ensuring the Professional Standards team is well-integrated across the directorate.
