TPP is recruiting on behalf of an established organisation seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead and develop its procurement function.

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Procurement, you will lead the procurement function, ensuring compliant, effective and value-focused procurement practices across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading and developing the procurement team, including line management of a Procurement Officer
  • Managing procurement and tendering activities
  • Enhancing procurement policies, procedures and governance
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and best practice
  • Delivering cost savings and value-for-money improvements
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance
  • Providing expert procurement advice to stakeholders across the organisation
 
About You
  • MCIPS qualified (essential)
  • Significant procurement leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, governance and tendering
  • Proven track record of delivering savings and efficiencies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
 
Experience within funding, grants, research, education, charitable or public sector organisations would be advantageous but is not essential.
