TPP Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation to recruit an experienced Grants Manager for an ASAP start, initially for approximately 3 months.

The details:

• £22.15 per hour
• ASAP start
• Temporary for approximately 3 months
• 35 hours per week
• Central London
• Hybrid working, 2 days per week in the office

The role You’ll join a busy grants team, taking responsibility for the delivery of funding programmes through the application, assessment, award and ongoing grant management stages.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing relationships with grant applicants throughout the application process
• Carrying out eligibility checks and coordinating application assessments
• Managing panel assessment and external peer review processes
• Organising applicant interviews and recording funding decisions
• Supporting funding panels and committees, including preparing papers and taking minutes
• Preparing award documentation and setting up grants and payment profiles
• Monitoring active grants and responding to queries and change requests
• Reviewing grant reports and supporting award holders
• Supporting financial administration, budgeting and forecasting
• Maintaining accurate grant records and producing reports and analysis
• Contributing to the ongoing improvement of grant-making processes

About you We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running in a busy grants environment.

You’ll bring:

• Experience within grants, research funding or a closely related funding environment
• Strong experience managing applications, assessments or grant-making processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience coordinating meetings, panels or committees
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• Strong IT skills and an accurate, methodical approach
