We are recruiting on behalf of a leading research-focused university seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a Director and Senior Management Team during a period of transition.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment and is confident supporting senior stakeholders.

Contract Details
  • Temporary assignment of approximately 2 months
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Hybrid working model with 3 days per week in a Central London office
  • £23.70 per hour plus £4.42 holiday pay
  • Immediate availability or short notice preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Managing complex and busy diaries
  • Providing proactive inbox management and correspondence support
  • Coordinating meetings and preparing briefing materials
  • Organising agendas, papers and follow-up actions for senior leadership meetings
  • Processing expenses and arranging domestic and international travel
  • Supporting events, visits and team activities
  • Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contributing to efficient administrative processes and systems
About You

Applicants should demonstrate:
  • Proven experience providing Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant ideally within a higher education setting
  • Strong diary and inbox management experience
  • Experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
  • Experience within a research, education or membership organisation, would be advantageous, but is not essential.
