  • Contract
Have you taken a qualification, accreditation or credentialing programme from development through to launch and delivery?

TPP Recruitment is supporting a professional membership organisation to recruit an experienced Credentialing Project Manager for an initial six-month assignment.

You’ll take an existing credentialing scheme through its next crucial stage, managing a live pilot while strengthening the processes, assessment approach and infrastructure needed for successful ongoing delivery. The first scheme is already being piloted, with further schemes in development.

Salary: £300–£400 per day, depending on experience and engagement structure
Working arrangements: Predominantly remote working
Working pattern: Flexible working pattern, with 3–5 days per week considered
Duration: Initially 6-9 months
Start: ASAP

About the Organisation

You’ll join a small professional membership and charitable organisation providing career pathways and professional recognition within healthcare.

Its credentialing programme formally recognises professional knowledge, skills and performance, with candidates progressing through evidence collection, portfolio development and assessment.

About the Role

This is a hands-on Credentialing Project Manager role combining programme development with practical delivery.

You’ll be joining at an important point: the programme is live, candidates are progressing through the first scheme, and further development is needed to create a credible, effective and sustainable offering.

You’ll need to be comfortable building and delivering simultaneously, making pragmatic decisions and avoiding unnecessary complexity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of the credentialing programme.
  • Manage the current candidate journey and support candidates through the pilot.
  • Use feedback and learning to refine processes and improve delivery.
  • Develop clear pathways, documentation and assessment processes.
  • Strengthen quality assurance, governance and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate assessors and senior professional volunteers.
  • Manage working groups and stakeholder meetings sensitively and effectively.
  • Support the development and launch of further credentialing schemes.
  • Maintain momentum while working within a small, evolving organisation.

Skills / Experience Required

  • Experience developing and implementing a qualification, accreditation, credentialing or professional recognition programme.
  • Experience taking a programme through development, launch, assessment and ongoing delivery.
  • Strong project or programme management experience.
  • Knowledge of assessment, quality assurance and robust programme processes.
  • Confidence managing senior stakeholders, committees or professional volunteers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The judgement to make practical decisions when processes are still evolving.
  • A flexible, hands-on approach and the ability to see complex projects through to completion.

Experience within an awarding organisation, professional membership body, regulated profession or healthcare environment would be beneficial, but healthcare subject expertise is not essential.

If you have successfully developed and implemented a qualification, accreditation or credentialing programme and are available for a substantial commitment over the next six months, we’d love to hear from you.
