Are you an experienced retail, charity shop or customer service manager looking for your next interim opportunity?

We're working with a well-established charity seeking an Interim Shop Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of one of its community retail sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, engaging with the local community and driving income for a good cause. The role includes responsibility for shop operations, volunteers, customer experience, stock management and achieving income targets. 

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the shop, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, motivate and support volunteers.
• Drive sales and maximise income opportunities.
• Ensure high standards of customer service.
• Manage stock donations, pricing and merchandising.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Build relationships within the local community to increase awareness and support.

We're interested in hearing from people with:

• Experience managing a charity shop, retail store, hospitality venue or similar customer-facing operation.
• Experience leading teams, volunteers or staff.
• Strong commercial awareness and an ability to work towards targets.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved in all aspects of running a busy shop.
