Pop Up Consulting, a pro bono initiative, was launched as the world first went into lockdown at the start of the C19 crisis in March last year. As a management consultancy specialising in building healthier businesses globally, at Q5 we wanted to extend our support to charities and small-medium businesses in desperate need but who lacked the means to access consulting expertise. As the pandemic unfolded, organisations were asking how they could continue to look after their people, their customers and survive - we launched Pop Up to help them face these existential questions.
Almost 12 months on, we’ve now supported over 60 organisations in the UK, Australia and beyond. To extend our reach we’re deliberately inclusive, working with a diverse mix of social enterprises, charities and small-medium sized businesses, providing support in areas including strategy and planning, fundraising, marketing and business development. Most recently, we’ve been exploring how organisations can look ahead beyond lockdown to establish hybrid ways of working, blending virtual and office based.
