Recruitment for short-term business needs typically centres around filling existing positions that require a specific skill-set. In the broader context of employee resourcing, however, recruitment requires that the hiring person or committee consider the current needs and balance those against future needs.
Key duties in this role would include writing job adverts, advertising roles on job boards to attract talent, shortlisting, coordination of interviews, sitting on the interview panel, managing offers, onboarding (contracts, reference checks, DBS, right to work checks and induction planning).
