Siobhan’s inquisitive nature led her to study the psychology of criminals at Staffordshire University in a combined BSc Psychology & Criminology degree. Post-graduation, Siobhan worked in both a probation and prison setting, assisting offenders with their education, training and employment needs.

With over 15 years recruitment experience gained, Siobhan has previously focussed on placing Qualified Social Workers and Probation Officers into temporary positions across the UK and has also assisted clients within the not for profit and charity sectors to fill their positions up to management level. For Siobhan, working with clients who make a difference within the community has been the drive to deliver high-calibre and reliable workers to her client’s teams.

Siobhan is a busy Mum of two young children and enjoys the outdoors with them. They enjoy family holidays and visiting new places. Siobhan enjoys good food, restaurants and going away for long weekends, particularly quiet spa breaks!

Why did you join TPP?

I joined TPP as the clients TPP support were very much aligned with my public sector recruitment background so I felt it was a perfect fit. That, coupled with the flexibility I was offered to initially work part time and 80% remotely was also very attractive (as a Mum of two young children and I also don’t reside in London.) I was also impressed with everyone I met during my interview process – all very genuine, friendly and passionate about TPP and their clients which made me want to join even more!

Your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement is definitely buying my own home. We worked really hard and were so dedicated to saving and not asking anyone for help and managed to make our dream come true by sheer determination and hard work. I’m proud to have done this as it isn’t easy to get on the property ladder these days.

Unusual fact?

I never ate vegetable until I was about 21! I used to eat cold baked beans instead with all my meals. Literally a can on the table, even at Christmas. I went to China and was worried to eat their meat so started eating their veg and fell in love!

Favourite film or book?

My favourite film is probably still one flew over the cuckoos nest as it was one I enjoyed in my 20s and still holds a special place with me!
