With over 15 years of experience in education recruitment, Chan brings a deep understanding of the sector and a real passion for connecting the right people with the right opportunities. She holds a degree in Management and Marketing, along with a PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector) teaching qualification – a combination that gives her a strong grasp of both the academic and vocational aspects of education.

At TPP, Chan specialises in recruiting for academic and temporary support roles within Higher Education, where she takes pride in building lasting relationships with both candidates and institutions. Her approach is thorough, consultative and always guided by integrity.

Outside of work, Chan is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves experimenting in the kitchen. When she’s not cooking up something delicious, you’ll likely find her with her head in a good book – lifelong learning and curiosity are what keep her inspired!

Why did you join TPP?

TPP’s values as an ethical recruiter really resonated with me. I was also drawn to the supportive work culture built on mutual respect, collaboration, and purpose.

Your greatest achievement?

Buying my home and fully renovating it from top to bottom. It was a huge personal project and incredibly rewarding to see the transformation come to life.

Unusual fact?

I come from a big family – I’m the second eldest of six, with four sisters and one brother. We all went to the same primary school.

Favourite film or book?

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! – a childhood classic that still makes me smile.

Tea or coffee?

Absolutely tea – all day, every day! Since my trip to China, I’ve added another five blends to my ever-growing collection. There really is a tea for every mood!
