Our client is looking to recruit
two temporary Quality Assurance & Enhancement Officers to support their Quality Assurance & Enhancement team over a busy summer period.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in
quality, compliance, regulatory or higher education environments who enjoys
detail‑focused, process‑driven work and can hit the ground running in a short‑term role.
The role
Joining a busy Quality Assurance & Enhancement team, you will provide hands‑on support across key quality and compliance processes. The role focuses on ensuring policies and procedures are followed consistently, supporting investigations and appeals activity, and helping the team manage increased workload during peak summer demand.
You will work across areas such as
centre approvals,
centre investigations and risk rating, and
processing grade appeals, requiring a high level of accuracy, organisation and sound judgement.
This role is to start asap and the role is mostly remote with just one day a week in their Central London office. One temporary role is until the end of July and the other is until the end of August, with possible extentions.
Key responsibilities- Supporting the processing of quality assurance applications and requests in line with established policies and procedures
- Assisting with centre approvals activity, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and compliant
- Supporting investigations into centre quality issues, including gathering and reviewing evidence
- Contributing to centre risk rating and monitoring activity
- Processing grade appeals in line with defined procedures
- Reviewing, checking and analysing data from multiple sources
- Preparing clear and accurate written summaries or reports for managers
- Responding to internal and external queries relating to quality assurance and compliance
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the awarding body
About you- Experience working in a quality assurance, compliance, regulatory or governance‑focused role
- Experience working within a regulated environment (e.g. Higher Education, awarding bodies, professional bodies, or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail with experience reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Experience supporting investigations, appeals, complaints or issue‑resolution work
- Confident handling detailed information and data from multiple sources
- Strong written communication skills with experience producing clear, accurate reports or summaries
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise workload during busy periods
- Able to work proactively and independently once trained
