A small membership / not for profit organisation of just circa 30 employees are seeking 6 months cover from early September whilst thier Credit and Finance Manager takes maternity leave.  They expect the post to be for 6 months commencing on 8th September to allow for a handover with the current post-holder.

The current post-holder works 30 hours per week, 4 days a week so can offer this contract on the same agreement or, they are also open to full time hours of 7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week if preferred.  You will need to come into the office near Bloomsbury Square 2-3 days per week.

You will join a small, very friendly, helpful and social team working in an open plan office within a listed building.  It's a great working environment with a roof terrace and plenty of nearby eateries.  This is a standalone finance role as they outsource the finance to an external management finance team.

Reporting into the COO, your duties will include:
  • To manage and pursue all debt position
  • Reconcile the information which comes out of their MS Dynamics based CRM system (which generates the sales ledger) 
  • Ensure the finance and reconciliations process with Xero is done correctly
  • Raising invoices manually on CRM system
  • Run reports and chase debtors
  • Ensure the crucial link between the CRM and Xero is working correctly 
  • Liaising with the out-sourced management finance team
Essential experience for this post will include:
  • Experience of the above duties - invoices / reconcilliations / debt chasing
  • CRM experience – preferably MS Dynamics
  • Finance package – preferably Xero
  • Clear communicator with confidence to chase debt
  • Ideally you will need to understand Membership pipeline and working between Dynamics and Xero to help with prompt payments and retention.
