Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the delivery of assessments, ensuring processes are followed accurately and within agreed timelines
  • Providing hands-on coordination and administrative support to the assessment and wider curriculum teams
  • Managing a shared Outlook mailbox, categorising enquiries, ensuring they reach the right colleagues, and following up where responses are outstanding
  • Supporting the onboarding and coordination of assessors, including working with a digital contract management system
  • Maintaining accurate records, tracking data and supporting reporting activity, particularly using Excel
  • Assisting with the preparation of documentation for assessment activity and internal processes
  • Supporting departmental projects, including the introduction of new systems and the rollout of new curriculum content
  • Working closely with the Senior Assessment Officer and Head of Assessment & Credentialing to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Skills / Experience Required

  • Previous experience working within an assessment function at a Royal College or similar professional body is highly desirable

  • Comfortable working within set procedures, while understanding that not every scenario fits neatly into a manual
  • Organised, confident and not afraid to ask questions
