Volunteer with Our 55+ Community Programme

Want to make a positive difference for older adults in Camden?
Queen’s Crescent Community Association (QCCA) is looking for friendly volunteers to support our vibrant 55+ Programme.

About Us
QCCA is one of London’s busiest community centres, offering free activities and support for local residents aged 55+. We help reduce isolation, boost wellbeing, and bring people together.

What You’ll Support
 We run weekly activities such as:
 • Chair‑based exercise
 • Coffee mornings
 • Arts & crafts
 • Gym and drama sessions
 • Reflexology
 • Community lunches
 • Bingo & movie afternoons

Volunteer Role
We’re seeking warm, sociable volunteers to:
 • Welcome and chat with participants
 • Help set up and pack down sessions
 • Keep simple attendance records
 • Assist with ordering supplies
 • Join occasional outings across London (gardens, museums, theatre, etc.)

If you have a skill or hobby you’d like to share, we’d love to include it in our programme.

Hours
Flexible voluntary shifts, Monday–Friday. Sessions last 2–3 hours—choose what suits you.

How to Join
We’ll start with a friendly phone call and a visit to the centre. If you’d like to volunteer, we’ll provide a full induction and support your DBS check.
