• Senior leaders in healthcare policy and advocacy, with experience in national health organisations, professional bodies, and public affairs.
• Commercial and strategic experts with backgrounds in global healthcare, higher education, and innovation.
• Public affairs and campaigning professionals with experience in government relations, stakeholder engagement, and policy development.
• The campaign also generated strong engagement from professionals in academia, international strategy, and charitable governance, demonstrating the broad appeal and reach of the opportunity.
• Candidates shortlisted had a two-stage interview process with nominations committee.

They have served as a Member of Parliament for nearly two decades, their work has involved significant policy development, international trade strategy, and representing the UK at the United Nations as well as a deep understanding of the NHS and current healthcare landscape.
