Welcome to 2019

2018 2019

We would like to wish all our clients and candidates a Happy New Year.  We hope 2019 is a good year for your organisation and career goals.

2018 was another busy year for us at TPP. With the current economic uncertainty, we saw an uplift in temporary roles, especially in the latter part of 2018, filling nearly 2,000 temporary bookings. We placed over 650 job seekers into permanent roles across our divisions, from administrative level through to CEO & Trustee.

Our giving back programme has continued to grow in popularity, we had a record number of volunteer jobs advertised, with over 310 published on the TPP website and other sector specialist job boards for free on behalf of charities.

Our boardroom and meeting rooms were booked out for a total of 199 days in 2018.  Saving charities over £59,000 in venue hiring costs.

"I am writing on behalf of our board of trustees who were so very grateful (and in awe) of your wonderful gesture in allowing us the use of your room yesterday.

We had such a productive meeting in peace and quiet, using excellent facilities and with such a warm welcome from your team!

Please convey our thanks to all involved in making this happen, for us and other small charities like ourselves. You really are making the difference."
The Team at K-9 Angels

We held our 10th Big Charity Quiz Night, donating over £10,000 to charities to date. Our team took part in #givingtuesday, raising over £3,662.57 for Crisis.

All TPP staff have 5 days paid leave to support charities of their choice.  The majority of staff take this up,giving their time to volunteer for charities, from one off fundraising through to regular volunteer roles.

Over 100 HR professionals attended our HR seminars throughout the year on employment law updates and coaching. Our breakfast forums (covering data, supporter care, prospect research, finance and HR) continue to sell out. We have a number of events planned this year for professionals, please keep an eye on our website for upcoming events, or if you want to be included in the mailing list please email

We published a host of recruitment and career advice via videos, including:

And lastly our popular non-profit salary survey went live at the end of the year. Results showed that although salaries are increasing, charities are struggling to retain talent. You can download the full report here. We have a host of recruitment and career advice blogs on our website, with lots planned this year to continue to support organisations to retain their talent (that don’t all require huge budgets!) and how to reach your full career potential.

We look forward to working with you in 2019!
