Finance Directors in the charity sector are often depended on by staff and trustees as the ‘expert’ on internal controls and anti-fraud measures. This is a growing area of concern and it is estimated that internal and external fraud cost the charity sector over £100 million per year.
Drawing on her experiences as a Charity Finance Director, Charity Audit Partner and Audit
Committee member, Anna Bennett, our guest speaker, will:
give 'real life' examples of fraud in the sector
give practical suggestions of financial controls you can put in place to help protect your charity
