Responsibilities & duties for Drug and Alcohol Worker
Giving support to clients who need accommodation, helping with their recovery, helping clients get back into education or training, supporting them, key working clients, managing a caseload, liaising with external agencies and offering advice and support.
Skills required for Drug and Alcohol Worker
Drug and Alcohol jobs require previous experience in a similar role and experience working within the criminal justice system, health or social care sectors. Experience supporting service users on drug and alcohol issues, substance misuse, alongside a qualification in substance misuse is beneficial. Strong people skills and clinical observation skills are desirable. NVQ level 3 will be required for most roles. All roles will require a DBS check.
