Jobs in Supporter Services focus primarily on maximising the support charities and other not for profit organisations receive through donations. This involves liaising with external individuals and organisations and can involve working with suppliers who have been instructed to process donations. There are no formal qualifications for Supporter Services jobs, however many non-profit organisations will require customer service skills and experience.  Also good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and databases, such as Raiser’s Edge, ThankQ, CARE and Visual Alms. Good numeracy, attention to detail, organisational skills and accuracy are also important skills needed for these roles.
