TPP are working with a leading women's charity to recruit a recruitment consultant. The role will be working to place young women aged 18-25 who are leaving care into long term, sustainable employment.
This is a permanent position based in North London, paying £24,000-£27,675.
This is a brand new programme for the organisation and a very exciting project to be involved in. Your day-to-day work will focus on delivering an excellent, end-to-end recruitment service to candidates and employers. You will research job opportunities, cold call employers to bring on vacancies, match candidates based on their work experience and market their CVs to sell their strengths as potential employees. In addition to these commercial recruitment activities, you will have the challenge and the pleasure of building supportive professional relationships with young women who have left care and need your support to take the life changing step of getting into work. This role is as much about the strength of your relationships with candidates as it is about sales. You will need to be resilient enough to coach your candidates though periods of disengagement and knock-backs from employers and keep them focused on their job search.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
*Experience of working with young people in difficult situations
*An ability to combine hard sales skills with sensitivity and a strong capacity for empathy.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
