As a charity that receives no government funding, the RNLI relies on passionate and dedicated volunteers fulfilling many different types of volunteering opportunities in line with the RNLI’s changing needs.
The Volunteering Team are a small and busy team who take responsibility for all things volunteer related including the recruitment of volunteers across the RNLI. The team are currently looking for volunteers who can offer support; this will focus on a variety of different recruitment tasks including helping to advertise opportunities on different websites and in different locations.
We are looking for somebody who is computer literate with experience of using in-house systems, has good interpersonal skills and it would be helpful, although not essential, if you have an understanding of volunteering. You should be an approachable person with good organisational skills, a keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. You will be a vital member of the Volunteering Team, helping them support volunteering throughout the RNLI.
We are looking for someone who would ideally be able to volunteer for one day a week, preferably on a Thursday or Friday, starting immediately.
