National Childbirth Trust Exeter and East Devon are here to offer you information and support in pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood through our local network. Are you a dab hand at event organising, or maybe you’d like to be? Do you want to meet people in the local area, to have a giggle and probably, lets face it, enjoy some cake? Then we are the group for you!
JOINT BRANCH COORDINATOR - Could you be our next BRANCH COORDINATOR - The leader of the branch team and an advocate for NCT in the local community.
Do you enjoy meeting new people? Can you work well with others to make a difference to local new parents? Are you fair and collaborative? Can you listen and communicate effectively? AREA REPS - Would you like to volunteer as an Area Rep?
You'll be organising new parent coffee mornings either at home or at nearest local venue (Exeter, East and Mid Devon areas).
As a Bump and Babies host for new parent coffee mornings you will:
NCT is for dads too! Would you like to meet more dads? We need a dad to lead support for dads - can you help?
You'll also act as a link and send out branch info about events and sales in your area.
PARENT SUPPORT COORDINATOR - who coordinates parent support activities and responds to enquiries from local parents, putting them in touch with Branch activities and services meeting their needs.
PARENT SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR (PSA) LINK - who make sure the class attendees become connected and involved in the branch and is responsible for keeping the PSA informed of current branch activities.
PREGNANCY AND BABY FAIR COORDINATOR AND TEAM: Can you help us make the next Pregnancy and Baby Fair event a success and have some fun along the way?
We are seeking:
BABY FIRST AID COORDINATOR: who organises the branches baby first aid courses in collaboration with British Red Cross.
MATERNITY SERVICES USER AND PARENT USER REPS - who represents NCT at local Maternity Services Liaison Committee (MSLC) to ensure parents views are taken into account.
STUDY WITH US - to become an Antenatal Teacher, a Breastfeeding Counsellor, a Postnatal Leader or Birth Companion.
