Why the RNLI needs this role

This role will help us save lives at sea by supporting our participants in the  Virgin London Marathon who are raising vital funds for the RNLI.

Potential time commitment: 26th April 2015 - 10am to 3pm or various times throughout the day depending on availability
Team: Events Team
Location: Various locations in Central London
Responsible to: Events Logistics Manager
Responsible for (any other people): N/A
Role Specific Requirements (e.g. reference checks): N/A

Responsibilities

  • Act as RNLI ambassadors
  • Cheer and support all the RNLI runners
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere at cheer station
  • Raise awareness of the charity

Measures of Success

  • RNLI runners feel supported and motivated
  • You enjoy and soak up the atmosphere

Training and Support

  • A full briefing of responsibilities and any necessary training will be given in advance.
