A brand new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Recruitment Assistant to work alongside local RNLI fundraising branches in the Portsmouth area to help source new supporters and volunteers.
We’re looking for somebody who is enthusiastic and creative to help our fundraising branches attract new volunteer supporters from the local community. This role would suit somebody who has good interpersonal skills with knowledge of the local area and who is willing to develop relationships with local shops, businesses, organisations and community groups in order to build up support. If you are outgoing with a proactive nature and willing to spare a couple of hours each week in order to help increase the number of supporter volunteers, we would love to hear from you.
You will liaise with the local Community Fundraising Manager as well as the RNLI branches to find out what support is needed and where. Once the recruitment needs have been identified you can then reach out to the community to look at different recruitment possibilities and ways in which the different branch requirements can be resourced.
