A brand new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Recruitment Assistant to assist in finding new volunteers who will support a major fundraising campaign in the local area.
We’re looking for somebody who is enthusiastic and creative to help the RNLI to attract new volunteer supporters from the local community to support a major fundraising campaign. This role would suit somebody who has good interpersonal skills with knowledge of the local area and who is willing to develop relationships with local shops, businesses, organisations and community groups in order to build up support. If you are outgoing with a proactive nature and willing to spare a couple of hours each week in order to help increase the number of supporter volunteers, we would love to hear from you.
This project will involve reaching out to the community to look at different possibilities and ways in which new supporters can be found. Throughout you will have the support of the local Community Fundraising Manager who will offer guidance to assist in your endeavours.
