Find Your Feet
Find Your Feet is an international charity that enables vulnerable rural families in Asia and Africa to grow enough food so they don’t have to go hungry, to strengthen their voice so they can speak out against injustice and to earn enough money so they can find their feet.
We are searching for a volunteer to work at least one day a week, to support our busy Fundraising and Communications team. Our office is based in Brixton near to major transport routes.
The purpose of this role is to support the Fundraising and Communication team in effectively filtering, using and managing their photos.
You will help the team to build a new user friendly, effective photo library. You will undertake photo organisation, selection, upload and categorisation; image sourcing; creation of staff user guides and recommendations for improved photo management processes.
This is an unpaid voluntary role within an ambitious but friendly work environment. We appreciate the contribution volunteers make to Find Your Feet’s goals, and aim to have a mutually beneficial relationship. We support volunteers to develop knowledge, skills and opportunities that will be useful to them in their future careers.
You will you gain experience of how a small international development organisation operates, develop valuable communications skills and have the opportunity to be part of building an exciting legacy project, helping staff to raise the profile of Find Your Feet’s cause long into the future.
Whilst the role will be focused predominantly on communications, there will also be opportunities to work within event fundraising, trust fundraising and programmes, upon agreement.
We are looking for someone able to commit to at least one day per week, for at least six months. Hours and days are negotiable and will be agreed on appointment. Travel and lunch expenses will be paid.
