National Health Charity – Regional Register Development Manager (Volunteer Manager) – North East or West Yorks – Home based - £29,820 + £250/month car allowance - Reference J52991EDR
This leading National Charity are looking for a Regional Register Development Manager to coordinate Register Development activity (including their education and donor recruitment programmes) in a specific geographic region by finding, engaging and training volunteers to deliver the organisational needs.
The North East region covers, amongst others, the counties of Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Humberside, Cleveland, Durham, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. A couple of the larger education programmes are North East and also West Yorks so please be mindful there is a great deal of travel within these areas. There is also regular London visits to Head Office (usually 1 every 6 weeks)
This role is one of 7 RRDM’s and there is a great team and supportive network.
The Charity is looking for an experienced Volunteer/Relationship Manager with the ability to prioritise large and varying workloads and work to deadlines and targets. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills. A full clean driver’s licence and access to a car.
You will also need:
Experience of working with and managing volunteers
Experience of presenting to varied audiences
You must be willing to work flexible hours and to travel throughout the UK.
