Volunteer IT Officer - Role Description
Healthwatch Wandsworth represents the views of patients, service users and carers with local commissioners and providers of health and social care services. Healthwatch is operated by Wandsworth Care Alliance (WCA) a local charity and is a member-led organisation.
We are looking for an office-based volunteer who can help us carry out general IT duties, accurately and efficiently.
Good knowledge of the latest software packages available (including MS Office); familiar with the latest advances in hardware; able to learn quickly and pick up new skills along the way; ability to problem solve. A strong interest in working in the health and social care or charity sectors.
Ongoing, but a minimum of 3 months commitment, 3 hours per week or more.
*Observe the Volunteers' Code of Conduct;
*Support staff with any minor IT issues that arise during the day;
*Create forms and spreadsheets as needed;
*Data entry into the Healthwatch Hub (an information bank, training provided);
*Run reports on the Healthwatch Hub;
*Upload content onto the Healthwatch Wandsworth website (training provided);
*Support with website development and use of other IT platforms;
Please note that this is an unpaid position. We are looking for a volunteer who is available 3 hours per week or more.
