Why the RNLI needs this role

This role will help us save lives at sea by ensuring the continued success of local fundraising events.

Potential time commitment:  Flexible – approximately 6 hours per month

Team: Fundraising and Communications

Location: Llandudno, North Wales

Responsible to: Community Fundraising Manager

Responsible for: N/A


  • Comply with the Volunteer Commitment
  • Implement new and innovative fundraising opportunities using a catalogue of new fundraising toolkits
  • Establish contacts and generate networking opportunities within the community
  • Assist with events and third party enquiries

Measures of Success

  • Number of successful, income generating events held in the community
  • A range of new fundraising event ideas

Training and Support

  • Training to fulfil your volunteer role will be provided
  • The RNLI will aim to provide opportunities for personal development in your volunteer role.
