An established national charity are seeking an experienced Volunteer Development Manager to join their team for a fixed term contract of 12 months.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience within volunteer management, you will have both strategic and operational knowledge.
Main duties for the Volunteer Development Manager:
To work closely with the Head of Volunteering to ensure strong relationships are being built and volunteering is well represented
Lead on a programme development and design of new opportunities
Working closely with corporate fundraising team to develop new CSR volunteering schemes
Working closely with local management teams to produce and deliver volunteer strategy
Essential criteria for the Volunteering Development Manager:
Strategic and operation experience within volunteer management
Ability to deliver and design workshops within this area
Excellent stakeholder management experience within the ability to influence
Extensive budget and risk management experience
Excellent communication skills
