Why the RNLI needs this role
This role will help us save lives at sea by raising income from selling a range of RNLI souvenirs and gifts at local events.
Potential time comm itment:
Team : Fundraising & Communications
Location: Port of Liverpool
Responsible to: Community Fundraising Manager
Comply w ith the Volunteer Commitment
Provide an attractive w ell stocked sales display at local events through sound merchandising and stock management.
Stock ordering and completion of relevant financial records.
Recording and banking of sales income
Complete branch/guild annual stock take.
Sales of souvenirs and gifts and/or delegating this task to other members of the branch as required.
Encourage and w elcome a diverse group of new members/suppor ters into the RNLI
Measures of Success
Branch/shop financial targets met or exceeded
Being constantly mindful of fundraising costs vs. benefit to the organisation
Promoting and upholding the reputation of the RNLI w ithin the community
Training and Support
Training to fulfil your volunteer role w ill be provided if required
The RNLI w ill aim to provide opportunities for personal development in your volunteer role
