Why the RNLI needs this role
This role will help us save lives at sea by raising income and support from the local community.
Potential time commitment: Flexible
Team: Fundraising & Communications
Location: Trossachs, Scotland
Responsible to: Community Fundraising Manager
Comply with Volunteer Commitment
Attend Branch Meetings and liaise with other branch members
Suggest and promote ideas to help raise funds for the RNLI
Be an active supporter of different events and activities throughout the year
Gain an understanding of the work of the RNLI and be a positive ambassador and advocate for the RNLI.
Encourage and welcome a diverse group of new members/supporters into the RNLI who can also become involved with events
throughout the year.
Measures of Success
To be constantly mindful of fundraising cost vs. benefit to RNLI
Promoting and upholding the reputation of the RNLI within the community
Training and Support
Training to fulfil your volunteer role will be provided if required
The RNLI will aim to provide opportunities for personal development in your volunteer role.
