Why the RNLI needs this role


This role will help us save lives at sea by raising income and support from the local community.
 

Potential time commitment:  Flexible
Team: Fundraising & Communications
Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire
Responsible to: Community Fundraising Manager
Responsible for: Branch Box Collection
 

Responsibilities
  Complying with the Volunteer Commitment
  Servicing, maintaining and emptying collecting boxes on a regular basis and issuing a receipt.
  Recording the amounts raised from individual collecting boxes and passing monies to the treasurer for banking or paying monies
into the branch using branch paying-in books supplied by the branch treasurer.
  Seeking out new locations for collection boxes.
 

Measures of Success
  All collection boxes emptied on a regular basis
  Maintain up to date and accurate records of box locations
  Increase in no. of collecting boxes placed vs. previous year
 

Training and Support
  Training to fulfil your volunteer role will be provided if required
  The RNLI will aim to provide opportunities for personal development in your volunteer role.
