|Job Title||Volunteer Accountant - EXPIRED|
|Contract Type||Temporary / Interim|
|Job Published||03 Feb 2017|
|Contact Name||Volunteers Team|
The Thames Museum is a newly formed charity (Dec 2013) that will tell the story of London using the items that have washed up on the shores of the Thames and picked up by mud larkers. The founders, expert mud larkers themselves, have started a charity which will be working hard over the next few years to design and build the Museum and get it operating as a fully fledged business. The charity itself has three registered trustees, as well as the two founders that attend meetings.
We are looking for an accountant to undertake a volunteer role as part of our team primarily to manage our charity accounts and meet the requirements of the Charity Commission. We are seeking an experienced charity accountant with an accounting qualification that has a keen interest in history and/or Museums. This is a very exciting time to be volunteering with us as you will be involved in the early stages of the Museum's development and will ensure its success and viability as a business.
If you would like to find out more, please email email@example.com for a full role description. If you would like to register your interest, please email us with your CV and a supporting statement explaining why you would like to volunteer for us and asking any questions you may have about the role.
We value diversity at TPP and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
