An opportunity has arisen to join a leading disability charity, as a Trusts and Grants Officer. The charity delivers disability services, community projects and education and training resources, which promote inclusion and wellbeing. This is an exciting time for the charity who are investing substantially in the fundraising team and aspire to increase voluntary income by 50% over the next four years. This role will sit in the Philanthropy and Partnerships team.
You will be responsible for implementing activities, from the annual trusts and grants plan to managing a portfolio of trusts and grant-makers. You will prepare and submit applications, research new funding opportunities and report on the progress of successful funding bids. You will keep up to date with relevant trends in the sector and contribute to supporter development at key events or project visits.
You will have 1-2 years' experience of successful trusts and grants fundraising, along with experience of researching trusts and grant makers. You will be creative, ambitious and have excellent writing skills. Finally, you will have good interpersonal skills and are able to develop sound relationships across all levels.
You will receive a salary of £25k to £27k, 25 days annual leave, training and development opportunities with the IoF, Employee assistance programme and you will work in a luxury modern office with splendid views of London.
