Into Film is seeking to recruit new Trustees to join its Board.
Into Film is an educational charity that creates memorable and impactful learning through and about film for 5-19 year olds. Our UK-wide programme is one of the
largest of its kind in the world, already reaching around 10,000 schools and non-school settings, and engaging hundreds of thousands of children and young
With significant support from the BFI and the UK Film industry, we have an ambitious vision to put film at the heart of young people’s learning and their cultural experience.
We wish to recruit new Trustees who can help us realise that vision and contribute to our further growth, by bringing skills that complement those of our already hugely strong and committed Board. We are particularly seeking applicants who have knowledge and experience in the following areas:
Formal Education: experience at headteacher or other strategic level in the state funded sector in any UK nation, with strong knowledge of wider education and cultural policy.
Development/Fundraising: direct experience at a senior level of development and fundraising in the cultural and/or education sectors, working across multiple channels including major donors and individual giving, Trusts and Foundations, and corporate partnerships.
Trustees must be committed to the mission and values of Into Film. Experience of successfully contributing to committees or Boards is desirable. Applications from ethnic minorities and people with disabilities are particularly welcome, as are applications from those living in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
