The RAF Association works with veterans and serving members of the RAF and their families to ensure that they have a shoulder to lean on during times of difficulty. They offer them practical assistance, expert advice and the emotional support to get back on their feet. With over 400 Branches worldwide, the organisation has created a strong network of volunteers who offer friendship and support to those that need it.
So what’s the role?
You will be part of a team of fundraising heroes and will play a significant part in the new strategy of the fundraising team. You will be implementing their ambitious plan to reinvigorate their trusts income stream. An essential part of your role will be to identify and generate fundable opportunities for the charity. You will have significant experience of creating strong pipelines of high qualities proposals. Relationships with the grant givers will be paramount as you will oversee that all funder conditions are adhered to and undertake the appropriate reporting.
Your attention to detail will be key in generating strong applications and you will have a strong understanding of the legal, governance and risk issues. You will be proactive as well as reactive and will contribute to the continuing success of the RAF Association.

Salary/rate: £30,566 -£32,007 includes £3,000 non pensionable supplement
Working hours: Full time
