An international professional body for health and safety practitioners are recruiting for a new role in their Education and Training team which will transform how the organisation provide qualifications and CPD to their members across the world as well as here in the UK.
As the Training Manager you will be involved in developing the team and play an important part in helping the organisation become Ofqual recognised.
As someone who either enjoys the challenge of setting up brand new education teams within a professional or awarding body field and wants to view this as a "contract" role, or someone who has extensive experience in a similar existing team and who wants a new challenge of setting one up, you will have a passion for training and the ability to manage a varied workload from developing, marketing and setting up processes, standards and frameworks.
Coming from a training or education team/function within an awarding or professional body you will assist the Director of Professional Development in the development of products including 1day training courses and elearning portfolios, setting up professional standards, accrediting third party training and developing robust processes around these, developing team infrastructure including policies and procedures and working with the marketing team to work to financial targets by promoting products.
