Temporary Data Manager/Programmer
£31,880 pro rata
Full time for three months
The health related charity is looking for someone to perform a variety of national observational studies using patient data. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in data programming to gain experience to work with a large detailed patient datasets and applying a variety of statistical methods.
*Principal data manager for a number of observational post-marketing surveillance studies
*You will be the principle data manager on the 2015 data report
*Provide the charity with a final dataset for future research and a series of annual reports
*Extract merge and prepare data from the registry database and tactical analyses
*Work with data administration
*Design and implement methods for ensuring validity and reliability of data at all times
*Provide final annual review datasets
*Liaise with various collaborators both in the UK and internationally
*Build upon programmes for automated data cleansing and verification of results
*Responsible for data cleansing and responsibility for data cleaning and preparation
*Will have a crucial role with within research teams
*Will be working independently but will be supported by the senior statistician
*Undertake training and/or development
*Attend meetings when required
*Undertake administration tasks
*Degree or equivalent in statistics or other relevant disciplines
*Experience of data management
*Practical experience with statistical software such as Statistics, Medial Statistics
