TPP's client, a pioneering learning disabilities charity in London is seeking a Team Manager to join their busy short breaks service.

Our client has been established for over 50 years and provides quality services to people with learning disabilities of all ages. They have a strong set of values that runs right through the charity and is mirrored in the staff they employ into their organisation.

The Team Manager role will be responsible for delivering a high quality support service to people with long term health conditions and their families including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health and substance misuse.

The short breaks service also delivers personal care within the Domiciliary Care regulations as this service does also provide respite support to people in the community.

This Team Manager job will report directly into the Head of Play and Youth Services; the job will be responsible for strategic development, ensuring that the service is operating in a person centered way by ensuring person centered planning is being undertaken with each service user. This role will also contribute to the recruitment for the service, ensure a high standard of performance management is being adhered to and will be responsible of managing a budget.

To be considered for this role you will need to have a willingness to develop your own knowledge and skills, have an ability to market new and existing services. You will have worked in a managerial role previously within social care or day service setting and ideally hold an NVQ level 4 in health and social care or equivalent, but this is not essential.

You will need to be available to start in July for the temporary post and have a DBS registered on the update service.
