TPP's client a leading provider of housing, support and care services is currently recruiting for Team Manager based in London. You will play a principal role in managing the safe, effective delivery of quality care and support services to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and complex needs.
Our client is a community building organisation focusing on the most vulnerable people across London. Their services range from providing support to vulnerable older people and adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, housing support, outreach, and care and support services. Our client provides effective support and encourages people to live as independently as possible.
The successful postholder will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of care and support service through quality auditing and monthly checks, as well as carrying out appraisals and supervision, whilst ensuring that the health and welfare of the adults is adhered to at all times.
The successful postholder will be responsible for setting, monitoring and analysing team budgets, therefore this role requires someone who can make strong financial intellectual decisions and has experience of exercising effective control over budgets, quality and performance in care and support services.
Another key aspect of the Team Manager post will be managing external relationships. The successful post holder needs to be able to build positive working relationships with commissioners, contract managers, and other key stakeholders.
The position will suit someone who is has extensive knowledge and understanding of supporting, and managing, service users with learning disabilities. You will have working experience of understanding their specialist needs and the challenging behaviours associated with their conditions. You will be available immediately or working on a short notice period - you will also be flexible and be able to work at least one weekend a month in a service.
